ex4200 looking for J-Web 15.1A4 or J-Web 15.1A4.1

I've just picked up a Juniper ex4200-48px and I was able to upgrade to 15.1R6.7 and then to 15.1R7.8.
Does anyone have 15.1R7.9 (which seems to be the latest version) and/or a copy of J-Web for any of these OS versions? I know everything can be done through CLI, but I'm new and just learning so a web interface would still help.

Namely I'm looking for J-Web 15.1A4 (for 15.1R6.7) or J-Web 15.1A4.1
which I would assume the file names would be like jweb-ex-app-15.1A4-signed.tgz or...

ESXi and HBA temps monitoring

I flashed a perc-310 to lsi 9211 IT Mode with the intention of passing it through to a Linux vm, so I can utilise some existing ext4 disks I'll be pulling from an old Gen 7 HP Microserver. It's in a tower case at home so not the kind of cooling these cards would get in a datacenter, but I have attached a 40mm fan. If I install the megaraid utilities on the vm, would I get access to the hba temps? Or do I need to find a way of monitoring from esxi? If relevant, it's an am4 x-470 motherboard,...

Which SAS3 drives to avoid for connecting to a SAS2 controller and backplane?

For an older server (sandy/ivy generation) that has a SAS2 backplane I've added a LSI2008-based card (flashed to IT-mode), but procuring drives from that era is getting harder. There are plenty of SAS3 drives available though, new and used. So the question is: which SAS3 drives are to be avoided? A quick search turned up some Seagate drives as not negotiating properly down to 6Gbit. Any other drives people have had problems with in this kind of scenario?

HPE Microserver Gen8 still viable?

I've realized I need a NAS to back up my file server. Small size and low noise are worth a premium because it'll be sitting in a relative's house. Remote access is important. Performance isn't (for now); the only thing it'll have to run is Windows Server 2019 (ideally) and Resilio Sync (which I'm assuming won't shit the bed when I ask it to sync 30TB). 4 drives should be enough (I'm thinking a 14TBx4 R5 should be fine for a system that only has to live long enough to restore to another one,...

Dell Powerconnect 7048p Bind MAC to VLAN

Hello all,

I finally got around to upgrading to a PowerConnect 7048P from my netgear GS748TP (For sale if anyone is interested) primarily because it couldn't power my PTZ PoE camera. it also adds two 10GBE SFP ports and two 10GBE RJ-45 ports for uplinks. The switch is in place and working well with one exception, Bind MAC to VLAN...

I have separate VLANS configured and working to segregate servers and general users, Kids Network (heavily filtered), IOT (things I don't completely trust),...

Small shoutout to Crashplan

I had a disk failure recently that required restoring 6TB over a few hundred thousand files from Crashplan SMB. Prior to this point, I'd just done some cursory testing with a handful of files to ensure I could do it at all, but didn't seriously test speeds.

So the restore starts and it's going 1 Mbps. First for a half-hour, then an hour. I start writing a nastygram to Crashplan support; being this terrible would defeat the purpose of the service if they won't ship seed drives.

But then it...

Is there anywhere I can get the latest version of JunOS, my switch got corrupted and for some reason juniper deleted my account. I have created a new account but they have not activated it yet. My lab is down right now with a corrupt switch and I was trying to get it back up.

TL;DR - Upgraded version of NR40700 with SAS3 (12Gbps) backplanes. Heavy and loud.

I recently picked up an IBM Slicestor 3448 (Chenbro RM43348) on eBay. They're currently listed at $595 but the seller accepted my Best Offer which was considerably less. It's definitely more expensive than a Chenbro NR40700 but the bandwidth upgrade is worth the delta, imo.

Anyone have any experience using this AIO CPU cooler? I'm putting together a build list for a W-3275 cpu based esxi host for a (admittedly over the top price wise) home lab. The cooler is 'intel approved' for the w-3175 but the 3275 is also 3647 based (and rated at 500W cooling abilities). This is the only aio based liquid cooler that I can find. The radiator is very thick, just wondering if you've encountered any space issues in typical e-atx based towers.

The website has absolutely no...

What is the recommended setup for IPMI over Internet?

My current configuration looks like this:
  • System: Host---hypervisor---VMs (pfSense, etc.)
  • Network: Internet---modem---pfSense---LAN
I have upgraded the system to a Supermicro X10SLM+-LN4F with a dedicated IPMI. The system is remotely managed system and I would like to use IPMI over Internet when the system goes down. For this, I plan on using a low power Netgate SG-1000 pfSense box and secure it with OpenVPN on the dedicated IPMI port. So now I have two networks:...

Not sure if there any peeps interested in rugged devices like this on STH, but whatevs:

I like my CF-19 more (and could use the €€€€ for that Volvo I keep talking about!) so i'm selling my Toughpad. Under warranty I had the display bezel replaced as it was starting to peel off. It spent more life sitting it's dock than being used.

Integrated options: 4G WWAN and a RJ45 LAN port in the expansion bay. Also comes with a leather hand strap, and I upgraded the stock 128GB SSD to a Samsung 860...
