Hello, picked up a DL180 G6 has one L5520 sans memory and drives recently, am having issues getting it to post.
added HP server ecc/r memory and a boot disk off the sata port, a monitor and usb keyboard, just tot get it up and running as first step.
The green MB light comes on and flashes per normal. When press on button, the f fans initiate, run for a few seconds then cut out, and the heartbeat light is flashing red. Changed to a different set of memory ( to only one stick ), same thing, unplugged all the cables and power supply and re seated, unplugeed the single riser, the ILO port, still the same. Checked to see if the fans where int eh correct headers, as this can be a cause of the above. Changed to L5639, still the same. Re seated the battery. PS the memory work in other machines OK.
Any pointers and tips are greatly appreciated.
