I'm working on building virtual host server. It's got ASUS mb with on-boad Intel 82579V Gigabit network.
I tried to install ESXi and it worked great! Found network and all is well.
With Windows Hyper-V- I get message "No active Network adapters found". This is really strange because ESXi should be one that doesn't like hardware..
I searched for a driver from both ASUS and Intel and there is none for Windows 2012..
So. I'm looking for Gigabit NIC that will be supported by the both ESXi...
