I would like to build a server to do the following things:
ZFS storage server to store movies, music, Time Machine backups, general storage for all computers.
Run SickBeard, SabNzb, CouchPotatoe, Newsbin, Plex
Run iTunes so I can play music using Airplay around the house
From all the reading that I have done it seems that FreeNas can do all of this except run NewsBin and iTunes. So I was thinking that I should create a virtualized environment, with SmartOS as the hypervisor and ZFS...
What is the best software (environment) to run?![]()
