Hello all,
I'm currently running a MySQL database on OmniOS in a zone, MySQL data on four Seagate Barracuda 2tb disks (ZFS, raid10). Didn't really have an issue with that, but I believe that the hard drives are quite slow for this. Running a NewzNab and a nZEDb instance on it, so constant read and write.
I thought perhaps an SSD would speed up this, can I expect that with a single SSD vs. a raid 10 of four disks, both on ZFS?
The more important question is: I can get an Samsung 840 pro...
Samsung 840 Pro or 840 EVO (overprovisioned) for MySQL (ZFS)
