Been lurking here while making all kinds of plans to start building a 'real' server for home use. Really informative forums here, very much appreciated!
After running a workstation with VMWare Workstation for my 24x7 needs for a few years, I decided it was time for some ESX experimenting, and when I got hold of a Fujitsu 1u demo server, the project was initiated.
The server had only 6Gb and one CPU (E5540) but with IPMI and LSI raid card it seemed like a good base to start with....
