my 3rd IBM ServeRAID card just arrived, this time a brand new M5016
SAS2208 based
1GB Cache (DDR3 1333Mhz)
Cachevault
Came with FW 23.7.0-0029 (Latest IBM)
Updated to 23.7.0-0035 (Latest LSI)
First thoughts, looks impressive with the daughter board attached
CacheVault uses a capacitor to hold the cache charged with power loss
RAID5, RAID6 and Safestore software keys are enabled
The 3 pin Hardware key header has no pins, just solder points on the PCB where they should be.
