I have a decent lab in term of Computing power (300+ GB ram and 44 real cores, maybe more on that in a separate post), but the storage part is not really suited anymore for my needs (a Synology DS1513+ with 5 x 3TB WD Red disks)
Currently i'm looking into a solution build on a 2 node Scale-out file server with clustered storage spaces JBODs below.
It will probably be overkill yes but it will double to give demos about the technology and for proof-of concepts.
