Just bought a bunch of M1015's for my servers (around $200 for 4 cards)![:)]( "Smile :)")
I plan on flashing them into 9240-8i mode.
If i remember correctly, in LSI raid controllers, i am able to disconnect the SFF8087 connectors from an old LSI controller to a 9260-8i for example without loosing the raid setup because it's saved onto the discs.
Isnt that correct ?
The reason for the question, is that i might upgrade the raid controllers later on to a model with cache.
